Charity Begins Locally
At Kruger Products Away From Home (AFH) division, we know that charity begins locally. That’s why we choose to support a number of charities right here in our communities. Each of these worthy causes benefits our communities by providing life’s essentials and offering life experiences for those less fortunate. As part of our charitable efforts this year, AFH donated approximately 1,000 cases of towels, facial and bath tissues, and sanitizer product to Friends of We Care, Daily Bread Food Bank and Association des Scouts du Canada. Kruger Products Supports Friends of We Care
Over the past 25 years,
Friends of We Care has dedicated all its hard work
and efforts towards assisting in sending physically disabled children to summer
camps through the Easter Seals camping programs by raising funds through the
Foodservice and Hospitality industry across Canada. During this time frame,
Friends of We Care has contributed close to $13 million, allowing over 25,000
children with physical disabilities experience the joy of camping in facilities
designed specifically for them.

Kruger Products Supports Ronald McDonald House
The twelve Canadian Ronald McDonald Houses in Canada provide a home away from home for families whose children are being treated for life threatening illnesses at nearby children's hospitals. For over 20 years, Kruger Products is helping to bring comfort and care to the children and families who stay at the twelve Canadian Ronald McDonald Houses by providing bathroom tissue, facial tissue, paper towels and napkins.
The first Ronald McDonald House opened in Canada in 1981. Each House is operated as an independent, non-profit organization. A volunteer Board of Directors, a small dedicated staff and a group of committed volunteers run each House. They rely on individual and corporate donors for the products and funds required to operate the House. In 2009, Kruger Products took an active roll in the organization by having a volunteer representative on the Board of Directors. We are pleased to provide Ronald McDonald Houses with tissue products, giving us the opportunity to help families and children in need.
